DISCOVERY PARK ANNUAL MEETING

Description:
In behalf of the DPOA Executive Board, Cantrell REPM has sent out the Annual Meeting Packets via U.S. Mail for the October 21, 2020 Annual Meeting.   The full packet has been loaded to the Association website (www.DiscoveryPark-AK.com; under 'Minutes - 2020') and a link is provided at the bottom of this notice.  This is especially useful to those who are at a second home or may be traveling.  It is also useful to those who may find it easier to read on a screen where they can enlarge the print, etc.  It should be noted that the Annual Meeting for all Owners has been set for 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Bayshore Clubhouse, 3131 Amber Bay Loop, Anchorage 99515.  Unit Owners may attend in person or electronically via ZOOM conference (information on the ZOOM connection will be emailed to Unit Owners prior to the meeting).  Proxy forms are also provided in the packet should a Unit Owner wish to make their presence and involvement known via Proxy.  Proxies may be a neighbor, friend, relative or the Executive Board.  A copy of the Proxy Form should be sent to Cantrell REPM either via email or regular mail (PO Box 240485, Anchorage, AK  99524).   Because COVID-19 may cut into attendance, proxies may be especially helpful this year if a Unit's Owner is unable to attend.  Voting is done by Units with each Unit allowed only one vote per issue.  The Bylaws stipulate that a quorum will be 10% of the Units which would be 21 Units represented in person, via ZOOM, or by Proxy (207 Units total).
The Packet contains a full copy of the budgets which will be ratified that evening.   Dues for all Units for 2021 are projected to remain the same:  $396 for ACU Units; $357 for Duplex Units; and $359 for Single Units.   For the full packet, click on the link below:
