The Annual Meeting of the Discovery Park Owners Association will take place at the Bayshore Clubhouse, 3131 Amber Bay Loop, Anchorage 99515, on October 20, 2021.   The meeting will start at 6pm.   All Owners are invited to attend.  Voting is done by Units with each Unit allowed one vote.  Units with multiple Owners will need to designate one Owner to cast their vote.  Proxies are allowed.  The Annual Meeting elects at least two Directors, ratifies budgets, and conducts any other business coming before it.  It has been the custom that immediately following the meeting the newly constituted Board will meet to elect Officers.   More information, along with the proposed budgets, will be sent out "not less than fourteen (14) nor more than thirty (30) days" prior to the meeting in accordance with Declaration 19.4.   Budgets are adopted by the Board prior to the notices and are ratified by the Owners at the meeting.  Budgets stand unless more than half of the Units vote "no".  Such a vote would require 74 out of 147 of the Single Family Units (includes duplexes) (SFU) and 31 out 60 of the Apartment Complex Units (ACU).  Click on the link below to view, download or print the Annual Meeting Packet.
