ACU FIRE INSPECTION
Location: 11324 & 11351 dISCOVERY vIEW aVENUE
Time: 9am to 5pm
Description:
Dear ACU Owners & Residents:
 
It's that time again!   As you know, the apartment condominium buildings are well protected by a fire detection system which includes sprinklers throughout the buildings and in each apartment unit.   We are required to have this system serviced and tested annually, including inspection of the sprinkler heads in each apartment unit.  This is one of those inspections and services for which the Declaration and governing documents require each Unit Owner to make their Unit available.
 
Our contractor will be servicing and inspecting the system and sprinklers in each building on Monday, March 21, 2022.  They will start at 9am in building 11351 and, when completed, proceed to building 11324.  This is an all day project and during the service and testing residents can expect the alarms to sound once or twice.  They will try to make these as brief as possible.   Owners and/or residents unable to be physically present are expected to make their apartments available to the inspector through a friend, neighbor or relative, or to make an entrance key or code available through management for their apartment unit.
 
Owners refusing to make their apartment available must do so in writing, including their name, address and contact information.  They may also be subject to extra charges for an inspection at a later date.  Again, this is a requirement set forth in the Declaration and governing documents.   More than thirty days notice is being given to afford Owners time to make the necessary arrangements with friends or management.
