This special meeting of the Executive Board will be for the purpose of reviewing certain proposed bylaws amendments. The Board intends to ask questions, and may offer its thoughts on alternate language. However, no vote or action will be taken at this meeting.  Action on the bylaws will require consideration and vote at a future regularly scheduled or special board meeting. 

 

The probable next step once the Board agrees on potential amendments would be to forward the matter for formal legal review and comment. Once the Board has finally agreed on desirable bylaws amendments (if any), the membership will be presented with a packet of information relating to the proposed bylaws changes, and will also be provided the opportunity to comment.
